1. Section cleaning:

Cleaning is the beginning of machines for the pretreatment and pressing of oilseeds, which can directly affect the final oil quality and machine life. This section usually includes cleaning the vibrating sieve, gravity stoner, magnetic sampling, etc. All oilseeds need this step to clean the raw materials and remove contaminants.

2. Husk / shelling section:

The machine for peeling / icing / shelling is designed to separate the shell from nuts. Some oilseeds, such as peanuts / peanuts, sunflower seeds, cotton seeds, palm kernel, have hard shells over nuts, in the first place they need shells. When pressed with a casing, the rate of residual oil is high, and the quality of the final oil is poor. This section is for oilseeds with a shell.

Drying to reduce the moisture content of oilseeds to proper moisture. 4. Splitting up:

Crushing refers to the mechanical process of downsizing; oilseeds are crushed into small pieces. For large or hard oilseeds, crushing reduces its size, which contributes to the formation of flakes, while for pre-pressed cake crushing turns the cake into the desired size and increases the yield of oil for second pressing or solvent extraction. Crushing is always necessary for soy, peanuts, palm kernels, etc.

5. Softening:

Softening regulates the humidity and temperature of oilseeds, softens and increases the plasticity of oilseeds. For oilseeds with a low oil content (soy, rapeseed / rapeseed, cotton seeds, etc.) Softening is an important process for better peeling.

For example, the oil content in soybeans is 18-22%, while soybean is solid, with low humidity and low temperature, peeling will bring many powders without softening. However, it must be emphasized that the need for softening depends on the properties of oilseeds.

6. Tracking:

A peeling machine presses oil seeds from granular to laminar, which destroys the cellular tissue of oil seeds and creates favorable conditions for cooking. Peeling also ensures smooth oil flow during compression or solvent extraction. Peeling a roll is common for soy.

7. Puffing:

The puff turns oil seeds (cracks, flakes or whole seeds) into polyporous substances, which improves the permeability of the solvent during extraction and increases the leaching rate. Pant mainly for rice bran.

8. Cooking food:

Cooking is the wetting, heating, steaming and cooking of flakes to change the internal structure of the flakes, including cell destruction, protein solidification and denaturation, etc. All these changes facilitate the release of oil and also improve the quality of crude oil. 9. Pressing / prepress:

Pressing / prepressing involves pressing oil from oilseeds or oilcake. In general, there are several oil presses for this step. The pressing section is mainly intended for processing oils with a high content of peanuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, canola seeds, cotton seeds, corn seeds, etc.
