According to various capacities and technologies, edible oil processing can be divided into three methods, which include periodic processing of edible oil, semi-continuous processing of edible oil, and continuous processing of edible oil. A batch refinery is the simplest technology, so its cost is also the lowest.
Before being cooked for consumption, vegetable oil goes through a series of different processes at a vegetable oil processing plant. Simply put, refining is the process of removing impurities that may be present in vegetable oil. Such impurities include phosphatides, free fatty acids (FFA), waxes and resins. A cleaning process is also necessary because it gives the final product a uniform color, eliminating any coloring pigments that might be present. It also helps in eliminating the unpleasant odor, which may be due to the presence of a fragrant substance.
Features of a serial edible oil processing plant:
1. An additional boiler is not needed, therefore, the edible oil processing plant has a wide scope.
2. The combination of short and long mixing ensures the quality of the wash.
3. A leaf filter is used in the bleaching section. The advantages of this are ease of use, fewer workers, less oil residues in white clay.
4. A refined edible oil processing plant can be used to clean various edible oils after changing the water temperature.
5. The quality of the final oil is stabilized.
The main equipment of a serial plant for processing edible oil:
Catalyst: transfer acid to vegetable oil and rinse it.
Discoloration pot: to move pigment in oil.
Deodorizing pot: transfer the pungent taste to vegetable oil.
Conductive oil furnace: used to provide heat throughout the process.
Vacuum pump: its function is to create a vacuum to discolor and deodorize.
Air compressor: it will dry the white clay after absorbing the pigment in the oil.
Steam generator: for generating steam for deodorization.
Edible oil processing plant can be used to produce 1st and 2nd grade oils from crude vegetable oil. It can also process animal fat, such as fish oil, pork fat, duck oil and so on. Suitable capacity is 1-30 tons per day.
However, different oils have different processes. Our engineer will help you choose the most suitable edible oil processing plant according to your capabilities and requirements. If you are interested in building a mini- or small edible oil processing plant to open a local edible oil company and make a lot of money, then you need a small and economical batch-processing edible oil processing plant!
